Seminars

The What’s Working for Children Conference programme will include a number of practical seminars aimed at sharing learning amongst those working to support children, young people, and families in Ireland. The seminars will explore the ways in which Irish based initiatives and organisations are connecting to international best practice models and effecting change for children, young people and families. The seminars will offer an opportunity to network and learn about successful Irish models of evidence based practice. There will be eight seminars in total. Each seminar will run for 60 minutes in the afternoon session on both Wednesday 11th May and Thursday 12th May. In order to afford delegates an opportunity to attend as many seminars as possible, the eight seminars on Day One will be repeated on Day Two. There will be an opportunity to attend two seminars on Day One and two seminars on Day Two.

The seminars will focus on the following themes:

  • Implementing Evidence Based Programmes
  • Developing Evidence Based Policy in Ireland
