A small number of bursaries are available under four different categories. The bursaries offer a chance to avail of half-price early registration fee (€90). In total, 65 bursaries are available. The criteria for submission are laid out below.
Category One: Members of the National Children’s Strategy Implementation Group, the National Children’s Advisory Council and/or the Children’s Services Committees.
20 bursaries available
The bursaries will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. To apply please email bursary@whatsworkingforchildren.org clearly stating your name, job title, organisation, contact details and that you wish to apply under Category One. Please ensure to include ‘Bursary Application’ in the subject line of your email.
Category Two: Senior public sector practitioners/senior managers in children’s services currently working in state agencies or state funded agencies/organisations who have responsibilities for resources including staff, financial and/or service configuration.

Please ensure to include ‘Bursary Application’ in the subject line of your email.
Category Three: Individuals working in the community and voluntary sector, specifically organisations/services with a focus on issues related to services for children, young people and families.
15 bursaries available

Category Four: Social Science post graduate students currently involved in a research programme relevant to children’s services.

To apply, please supply any relevant information supporting your bursary application, linking themes from the conference to current or planned research (max. 250 words).
